Randy and I had a great time in Chicago. I think I've just now managed to recover and feel like Blogging about it. I got there on Thursday and met Randy at the airport it was great to see him! We stayed at The Palmer House Hotel it was beautiful! Managed to make our way to Wrigley that night, but couldn't get tickets. Sooooo we made the most of it by hitting a few places around the stadium and caught a hilarious band "The Chicago Spazzmatics" it turned out to be a great night! Friday we headed back to Wrigley and managed to get tickets to see the Cubs and the Florida Marlins play, Cubs lost but we still had fun! That night we went to see "Kooza" a Cirque De Solae it was really good. I would advise anyone to go see a Cirque if you haven't ever been. It's truly a experience. Lots of good food in between everything (Of course). Saturday we took a architectual cruise around the city just to figure out what all the buildings are about that we gaze at evrytime we take a trip there. Really cool, learned alot of things that I didn't know. Later that night we made it to Volare for dinner, such a sweet old Italian place we had a wonderful time, it brought back alot of memories. After dinner we walked down to the Lake and watched a fireworks display and a boat parade. I don't think I've ever seen fireworks that big before. Chicago is truly a great city! Love to visit it in the summer, but don't think I would like the winters there though! Way too cold! It's really great to be home though, there's no place like it :) Here's some pics!
